DISYS Executes Beneficial Energy SharePoint Migration via Application Development

The client, a non-utility subsidiary of a US-based traded company, wanted to take on a SharePoint Migration to upgrade its 2007 environment to Sharepoint 2013 to in compliance with industry regulations and security updates.

DISYS performed a series of database-attached upgrades to upgrade the content to Sharepoint 2010 products, then 2013 — implementing the migration in two phases. DISYS also moved the client’s 64-bit hardware and Windows Server 2008

DISYS completed migration without significant business interruption and the migrated SharePoint 2013 runs in Windows Server 2012 R2, providing a stable, dependable, easy-to-manage platform with enhanced scalability and performance. Additional features and functions of the new system allow for enhanced user experience. The project garnered a long-term relationship with the client to enhance & expand a proprietary application.
