DISYS Now ISO 9001:2008 Certified

Digital Intelligence Systems Corp. (DISYS), a global technology and business services consulting company, announced today that its Washington DC Headquarters has been certified in ISO 9001:2008 standards by the British Standards Institution (BSI), one of the world’s leading certification bodies. The Certification establishes that DISYS operates a Quality Management System which complies with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008.

The ISO 9001:2008 standard specifies Quality Management Program (QMP) requirements focused on an organization's ability to meet and improve upon customer satisfaction and quality requirements. DISYS has established its own QMP to ensure constant commitment to customer satisfaction and continual process improvement. By identifying areas for improvement, creating recommendations to resolve identified gaps, and executing against these recommendations, DISYS is ensuring that it has the global processes necessary to consistently improve service quality on a regular, quantifiable, and demonstrable basis.

DISYS Ranked 6th on Staffing Industry Analysts’ 2010 List of Fastest Growing Staffing Firms

DISYS has achieved a 6th place ranking on the Staffing Industry Analysts’ 2010 list of fastest-growing U.S. staffing firms. The list is based on a survey distributed by Staffing Industry Analysts and includes all staffing firms with over 15 percent compound annual growth rate in revenue between 2005 and 2009. This excludes growth as the result of acquisitions. DISYS had a 46.49 percent compound annual growth rate from 2005 to 2009. In total 44 firms made this year’s list.

DISYS now certified to implement end-to-end solution operations standards for clients, delivering enhanced efficiencies, reduced down time and lower costs

DISYS, an SAP® services partner, today announced it has been certified by SAP AG as a provider of solution implementation based on the Run SAP methodology. DISYS will incorporate the methodology into its implementation standards.
“By adopting the Run SAP methodology into our support, operations, implementation and upgrade standards, we are going beyond the vision of implementing the solutions required by our customers while utilizing best-practice methodologies and standards,” said Arthur Levitt, head of the SAP Practice at DISYS. “We are now providing our customers the proven methodology for managing their SAP applications through end-to-end solution operations standards. This will empower DISYS customers to manage their SAP applications more efficiently and at a lower cost.”

Run SAP methodology is a phased methodology based on world-class knowledge. DISYS has been awarded a contract to perform an Inventory Audit for a client environment that is a major player in the gaming industry.  DISYS will deliver 34,000 assets capturing 12 data fields in a client provided template from Redwood City, CA to Los Angeles, CA, Baton Rouge, LA, Montreal, CN, Orlando, FL, and Salt Lake City Utah.

The end-to-end solution included managing the scheduling, electronic format data collection using Asus Netbooks and Honeywell barcode scanners, data reporting and Program Management oversight, and direct touch labor.

DISYS Welcomes General Donald Jones

General Jones joined the DISYS team to manage the on-boarding and sourcing of former military technical and professional resources. Mr. Jones is working with some of the nation’s leading employers to discuss hiring initiatives and talent shortages. With the help of Mr. Jones, DISYS has established recruiting channels with Army Career Assistance Program (ACAP), The Wounded Warrior Project, and others to source talented professionals transitioning out of the U.S. Armed Forces. Mr. Jones has led DISYS’ creation of the Former Military Sourcing Program to supply resources to companies with a veteran-friendly culture on a contract, contract-to-hire, and permanent basis.

During his military career, Mr. Jones held a wide variety of troop commanding positions as well as staff assignments. Prior to joining DISYS, Mr. Jones was the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Military Manpower and Personnel Policy, Office of the Secretary of Defense. His other key appointments were the Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff for Personnel, Headquarters, United States Army, and the Commanding General, Military Personnel Command. He was also Assistant Division Commander of the 1st Cavalry Division at Fort Hood, Texas, from 1983 to 1985. Mr. Jones served in the United States Army for over 35 years and retired in August 1991 with the permanent rank of Lieutenant General.

Mr. Jones’s accomplishments include:

  • Directed 3,800 personnel to provide for the worldwide assignment, training, career development, continuing education and training, graduate level education, and total life cycle management of more than 740,000 service members.

  • Initiated career development and education programs in addition to executing recruitment, training, and assignment responsibilities for a civilian workforce of 400,000.

  • Developed and executed policies and prepared Presidential Executive Orders pertaining to Reserve call-up, partial mobilization, and retiree recall, as well as compensation and manpower policies to support Operations DESERT/SHIELD/STORM.

  • Established annual wage compensation, benefit programs, and retirement contributions for a total force of 4.5 million personnel.

  • Streamlined permanent change of station (transfer) policies resulting in $200 million annual savings.

  • Procured an $80 million automation system to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Developed ACAP to assist soldiers in obtaining employment and learning skills to transition from military to civilian life.


Mr. Jones’s awards and decorations include the Defense Distinguished Service Medal, the Army Distinguished Service Medal, the Legion of Merit, the Bronze Star, and the Meritorious Service Medal. He and his wife Betty reside in Killeen, Texas. Mr. Jones is also the immediate Past President of the Central Texas and Fort Hood Chapter of the Association of the U.S. Army, the largest chapter in the world.

DISYS is awarded SAP Contract with the World’s Largest Publicly Traded Oil and Gas Corporation

McLean, Virginia – DISYS announced today that it was awarded and has executed its 4th overall contract, and 2nd Global Master Services Agreement, with a global oil and gas corporation. DISYS will support a 5-year SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Program at DISYS’ worldwide delivery centers, including Houston, TX; Fairfax, VA; Singapore; Curitiba, Brazil; Budapest, Hungary; Bangkok, Thailand; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Brussels, Belgium; and Ft. McMurray, Alberta, Canada.
