DISYS is proud to be listed on the Inc.com 5000 list which represents only the most elite of companies from the seven million or so companies in the U.S. that have employees. » FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: August 8, 2007 DISYS’s GPS-Based Solution, My Mobile Workforce, Plays Central Role in the Recovery of Stolen Property On Wednesday, August 8, 2007; Charlotte, North Carolina police officers, through the use of the My Mobile Workforce GPS-based location technology, were able to locate and arrest a suspect, accused of stealing property from a Daily Express truck. The driver noticed his truck had been broken into and property missing around 9am and immediately notified the police. While on the phone with the police, the driver’s supervisor was able to log-on to the My Mobile Workforce network and track the location of the driver’s handset, which was among the stolen property. He was then able to give the police the exact address of where the suspect had taken the stolen items; within an hour the police were on the scene, the suspect was under arrest, and the property was recovered. This is the second time My Mobile Workforce has been central in the recovery of this company’s stolen property. Last year, in a similar situation in Texas, My Mobile Workforce was used to track and lead to the recovery of computer hardware stolen out of a company truck.
