Java / J2EE Developer

Required Skills:
- 2 - 5 years of Java/J2EE software programming experience, specializing in web applications
- Familiarity with Object-oriented design concepts, and with Design Patterns (particularly relating to J2EE/Java).

Technical Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge of server administration on both Windows and UNIX platforms. Should be experience in applying security patches, setting up and monitoring backups, user administration, and basic hardware maintenance.

SQL / DW Developer

Job Description:
Project scope is to take data from the data warehouses (Cognos and Impromptu) and place in SQL so that data can be combined, calculations performed and manipulated to populate reports and an EXCEL spreadsheet dashboard with this information for both monthly and quarterly runs for other business units.
The project includes automating the data collection, aggregation, and reporting. This will require technical expertise from data extraction to data warehouse design to cube development to report/dashboard creation.
The data comes from many sources (internal and external), so the disparate data sources will need to have keys matched and have the datasets combined. The current data warehouse has a number of cubes; however, new cubes will need to be created and the data warehouse may need to be extended to enhance reporting and dashboarding abilities.
